Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the central executive authority responsible for developing and implementing state policy in the areas of economic development, investment, entrepreneurship, trade, industry, innovation, and sustainable economic growth.

The Ministry works to strengthen Azerbaijan’s economic potential, improve the business and investment environment, promote private-sector development, support entrepreneurship, facilitate domestic and international trade, and attract foreign investment. It also coordinates economic cooperation with international organizations and foreign countries, contributing to the expansion of Azerbaijan’s integration into the global economy.

Through its activities, the Ministry supports the diversification and competitiveness of the national economy, the development of non-oil sectors, the promotion of exports, and the implementation of strategic economic development priorities.
